Kalkan, meaning Shield in Turkish.

This beautiful pendant is inspired by my Turkish roots and the Evil eye that means a lot to me. Walking through the bustling markets in Istanbul as a child, visiting Turkish family, holidaying in Antalya, the Evil Eye is everywhere. A talisman said to protect you from evil spirits and bad luck, its blue beady eye holds a special place in my heart.

This necklace is made from solid sterling silver and has then been dipped in thick layer of 24ct gold .

The EYE is from Istanbul and is made of glass.
