This chunky yet lightweight pendant has been made by layering lace on top of hand sawn silver and embossing it into the metal. The print is always random and no two pieces will ever be the same. The texture makes me think of the surface of the moon. Ay in Turkish means Moon, hence the name. 

The pendant and chain are made from solid sterling silver and has been dipped in a thick layer of 24ct yellow gold.
